Katya & Trevor – 9th May 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 2:06 am

Katya and Trevor were married on May 9th. It was a small wedding with just close friends and family present .

Trevor was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his bride.

Katya looked magnificent in her beaded gown.

The ceremony took place at the Russian Orthodox Church in Woolloongabba.

Our photo shoot was at The Botanic Gardens in Mt Tamborine.

With no bridal party we were able to capture the intimacy and love between Katya and Trevor.

Before making our way to the reception we stopped at the lookout to take in the amazing sunset.

The reception dinner was held at the Tatra Winery. www.tatrawinery.com.au

With their friends and family by their side the newlyweds celebrated with traditional Polish/Russian fare.

Congratulations Katya & Trevor! All the best for the future.

Liz & David’s wedding was on a beautiful sunny day in April.

David and his groomsmen (his brother and his best mate) got ready at home, but were running a little behind when we arrived.

But with a little gentle nudge and they all suited up.

Liz spent the morning at Stamford Plaza Hotel www.stamford.com.au  A fantastic venue for photography.

With the help of her two big sisters as her bridesmaids she got dressed in her beautiful Hilde Heim gown.

What a stunning bride she was!

The ceremony was held at St Mary’s Church at Kangaroo Point.

After the ceremony we made our way to Roma St Parklands for some photos of the newlyweds and their bridal party.

They were all smiles and laughs for the camera, a really fun group.

The parklands make an beautiful backdrop for romantic portraits. And romance was in the air.

Liz and David celebrated their wedding with their guests at Baguette Restaurant in Ascot. www.baguette.com.au

Thank you for allowing us to share in your special day.

Eagerly awaiting the arrival of the bride.

After the ceremony we went to the city to take some shots of the bride and groom and their bridal party along the river.

Despite the fact the day started out wet, it turned out beautifully. With just a few powder puff clouds in the sky.

Athena and Rodolfo make  such an attractive couple whose love for each other is so endearing.

Congratulations Athena & Rodolfo. We wish you both eternal happiness.

With the help of his cheeky groomsmen and pageboy, they all played up for the camera.

Natalie got ready at her parents house with the help of her 3 beautiful bridesmaids and adorable little flowergirl.

She looked simply exquisite in her beaded strapless gown.

It is a lovely church.

Lucy & Steve were married in Brisbane city on a beautiful May morning.

Lucy and her bridesmaids were in preparation at Conrad Treasury Hotel www.treasurybrisbane.com.au

Lucy looked stunning in a bead encrusted gown and tiara.

We made use of the stately rooms within the hotel for our photographs.

The ceremony took place at St Stephens Chapel www.cathedralofststepehen.org.au

It was a traditional scottish affair, with the groom and groomsmen and many of the guests in kilts.

Lucy and Steve’s daughter Lily was there to help them celebrate their union.

The bride made her entrance to the sound of bagpipes.

Lucy’s adorable little niece and nephews were the flowergirl and pageboys.

The newlyweds love for each other is  unmistakeable by the smiles sweeping across their faces.

Lucy’s parents surprised the newlyweds with a horse drawn carriage to whisk them away.

The lush gardens of Roma St Parklands were the backdrop for our location shoot.

After the location shoot we headed for Bretts Wharf www.brettswharf.com.au where the reception was held.

Before entering the reception we took some romantic shots of the happy couple  along the river.

Congratulations Lucy & Steve.

We hope you have enjoyed viewing your magic wedding day moments as much as we enjoyed capturing them.

Warm Regards, Helen

Ruth & Robert’s Wedding 10th April 2010

Ruth & Robert’s wedding took place on a warm April afternoon  in the picturesque Roma St Parklands.

Ruth prepared for the day at the couples northside home.

She wore a  cream and gold gown with pearl jewelry. She looked so beautiful.

Ruth’s “bride” doll is very special to her as she has had it since she was a child.

Luckily the bride was fashionably late because the groom arrived moments before the ceremony was due to start.

But we still managed a few shots with Rob and his Groomsmen.

The ceremony was held next to the Harry Oakman Pavillion under the trees.

Once the ceremony concluded we took Ruth and Robert and their bridal party through the lush gardens to do the photos.

Amidst the setting of the tropical rainforest, with the sunlight glistening through,  we captured our newlyweds love for each other.

The reception was held at The United Services Club. www.unitedservicesclub.com.au

Before they made an animated entrance into the reception we took the bride and groom to the bridal suite for some romantic photos.

Congratulations Ruth and Rob!

Can’t wait for you to receive your beautiful wedding album.

Sonja & Petar’s Wedding 20th March 2010

Sonja & Petar’s story is a real life fairytale.

The couple met when they were in grade one and formed a lifelong bond. Now many years later they have fallen in love and married.

When we arrived at the Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove www.sanctuarycove.regency.hyatt.com  the weather was perfect, warm with a few powder puff clouds throughout the sky.

Petar and his groomsmen were already having celebratory drinks.

Sonja and her bridesmaids, and two adorable little flowergirls, were bustling about in their suite.

Sonja’s elegant gown was strapless with a full tulle skirt. She really did look the part of a princess bride.

By the beginning of the ceremony, held in the onsite chapel, the sky was dark with heavy rain clouds.

Although it was dark outside the light inside the chapel was beautiful and so was the ceremony.

The rain did indeed begin to pour however we were still able to capture amazing shots of our gorgeous newlyweds.

Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove is a stunning backdrop for photos and it was such a shame that it was raining so heavily.

The reception was in the Grange room where 100 of their family and friends were waiting.

In spite of the bad weather the wedding was magical. Thank you Sonja and Petar for asking us to be a part of your dream day.

Julia & Matt’s Wedding 13th March 2010

Filed under: Julia & Matts Wedding — admin @ 12:06 am

Julia & Matt chose the idyllic seaside location of Mantra on Salt  at Kingscliffe for their wedding. www.mantraonsaltbeach.com.au

Poor Matt was recovering from illness but was clearly excited about marrying Julia.

Julia in a grecian style gown, looked absolutely beautiful.

At the end of the garden ceremony the couple released white doves.

The resort was a perfect place location for photos, with it’s large lagoon style pool and tropical gardens.

We took the Bride and Groom to the lighthouse at nearby Fingal.

With the waves crashing on the rocks and the smell of salt air it made for quite a romantic setting.

Julia & Matt are such a sweet couple and have some wonderful location photos to be cherished in their stunning album.

As we departed, the Bride and Groom joined their guests to celebrate their  union long into the night.

Congratulations to Julia & Matt, what a beautiful wedding  it was.
